The Gay Mafia Improv/Sketch Comedy Company was founded in September 2002, and has performed at The Cavern Club Celebrity Theatre in Silverlake, Masquers Cabaret in West Hollywood, the McCadden Place Theatre in Hollywood, Club 66 in Hollywood, and the Praxis Theater in West Hollywood.

The Mafia defied censorship at Club 66 by performing a banned sketch to huge audience support.

They performed private gigs for gay organizations such as Great Outdoors Los Angeles, and Women On A Roll.  They appeared on the Harrison On The Edge national radio talk show and marched in the 2004 LA Pride Parade.

They performed at the Fourth Annual Transgender Awards at the Renberg Theater, The Second Annual Los Angeles Improv Comedy Festival at Second City, and the 2004 Gay Life Expo at the L.A. Convention Center.

In January 2005, The Gay Mafia appeared live on The Frank DeCaro radio show on Sirius satellite radio. Lisp and The Glory Holes made their radio debut!
