All levels welcome. This is a chance to either
brush up your skills, get a good workout and expand, or to be
introduced for the first time to comedy improv.

The Studio
at The Underground Theater in Hollywood
1310 N. Wilton (between Fountain and Sunset)
Cost: $20. Street Parking

levels. Everyone works at their own speed with individualized coaching.
Emphasis on scene development, character work and story telling.
Workshop is led by Mike Player. Mike trained in improvisation in Los
Angeles with DeVera Marcus of Off The Wall. He went on to become
artistic director and founding member of the long-running Shock of the
Funny Theater Company
in New York. The troupe performed in colleges, clubs, their own
theater, and at Lincoln Center. Mike is a graduate of the Warner
Brothers Comedy Writers Workshop. He taught improv comedy workshops at Highways
Performance Space
in Santa Monica, The Village in Hollywood, and at Cal Arts. He is the
director and head writer for The Gay Mafia. He also performs with the
company.
